255. Dear relatives, as many as are assembled here, listen to what I am going to say. I will teach you the Supreme Buddha’s Dhamma. Rebirth again and again is very painful.
256. Therefore, strive energetically. Get rid of laziness. Follow the instruction of the Supreme Buddha. Knock down the army of Māra as a king elephant knocks down a bamboo hut.
257. Whoever practices this Dhamma heedfully, eliminating journeying from rebirth to rebirth puts an end to all suffering.
These verses were said by Arahant Abhibhūta.
