SN 55.11 Sahassa Sutta
A Saṅgha of a Thousand Nuns

One day, the Buddha was living at the city of Sāvatthī in the Rājaka Monastery. Then a group of a thousand nuns went to the Buddha, bowed respectfully, and stood to one side. The Buddha said to them, “Nuns, a noble disciple who has four factors is a stream-enterer, not liable to be reborn in lower worlds, heading towards Nibbāna. What four? It’s when a noble disciple has unshakable confidence in the Buddha… the Dhamma… the Saṅgha… And he has virtue loved by the noble ones… leading to concentration. A noble disciple who has these four factors is a stream-enterer, not liable to be reborn in lower worlds, heading towards Nibbāna.”
