The Verses of Arahant Khujjasobhita (234-236)

234. Pātaliputta is a great city where good recluses live. They can preach very beautifully. They have a vast knowledge of the Dhamma. The monk Khujjasobhita, standing at the door of the monastery, is one of those good recluses.

235. Pātaliputta is a great city where good recluses live. They can preach very beautifully. They have a vast knowledge of the Dhamma. The monk Khujjasobhita is one of those good recluses and he came near the door using his psychic powers, as if blown by the wind.

236. Destroying defilements is called a good war. Cultivating good qualities is called a good sacrifice. Having won the battle of defilements, having practised this holy life, he experiences true happiness.

These verses were said by Arahant Khujjasobhita.
