TheragāthāThag 3.9
The Verses of Arahant Yasoja (243-245)

243. That person’s limbs are like the knots of black vines. He is very thin with his veins showing. But he knows the purpose of eating and drinking. His mind is victorious.

244. He goes into the middle of the thick forest to meditate. There mosquitos and flies surround and attack him. He endures those attacks with clear mindfulness like a king elephant in the battlefield.

245. Living alone is like a Brahma. Two people living together are like gods. Three people living together are like a village. More than that is definitely a quarrel.

These verses were said by Arahant Yasoja.
