The Verses of Arahant Bhagu (271-274)

271. I was very sleepy. I came out of my hut still sleepy. I stepped on the walking path to practice walking meditation. I fell to the ground on that very spot.

272. I got up, rubbed my arms and legs and stepped on the walking path again. However, I managed to practice walking meditation. I was able to still my mind.

273. Based on this incident, I gained wise consideration. I started to think wisely. The danger of sensual pleasures was clear to me. Disenchantment with life was established in my mind.

274. Based on this same incident, my mind was liberated from all defilements. See the excellence of this Dhamma! I too attained the Triple Knowledge. The Buddha’s path has been fully followed by me.

These verses were said by Arahant Bhagu.
