The Verses of Arahant Nandaka (279-282)

279. Your body is filled with filth. It has a terrible smell. It is on Māra’s side. You woman, oozing with defilements, curse on you. Your body has nine doors. Filth is oozing from each door all the time.

280. Don’t try to be funny with me like before. Don’t offend the disciples of the Buddha. They are not even interested in heavenly happiness let alone human happiness.

281. But those who are fools are stupid and cloaked in delusion. Only such slacking people are interested in those things. They all are caught in the snare of Māra.

282. Those who have discarded desire, hatred and ignorance, and have unagitated minds are not interested in those things. They have cut the cord of craving; therefore they are not attached to sensual pleasures.

These verses were said by Arahant Nandaka.
