287. I came to the beach of Gayā to see an auspicious festival. Truly, I had gone to the correct place. That day I saw the Supreme Buddha teaching the excellent Dhamma.
288. The Buddha’s life is bright with great wisdom. He is an excellent teacher for all disciples, and the foremost in all the three worlds. The Buddha is the leader of all three worlds and the greatest sage of gods and humans. Even the sight of the Buddha is incredible.
289. The Supreme Buddha is like a great king elephant. He is a great hero. He is glorious. Having destroyed all taints, the Buddha lives without taints. I saw my Great Teacher, the one who doesn’t have any fear at all.
290. Previously, I was defiled with various views and opinions. But the Blessed One freed this Senaka from all ties of defilements.
